Social Media Manager

Responsibilities:

Social Media Managers at The Escape Pod are thinkers and doers with a strong POV on all things social. Not one-trick-ponies. 

The Social Media Manager will be the point person for all things social and community management on a number of brands (national & global). This person lives & breathes social, has a track record of fostering passionate communities through CM and can help clients and creative teams navigate social changes with clear POVs. This person is excited about finding fresh opportunities to bring brands into cultural conversations on each platform. 

Social reporting will also be an integral part of this role including composing monthly and quarterly reports turning social data into clear and actionable recommendations. Having a good understanding of the influencer partnership landscape is also important.

  • Plan weekly and monthly content calendars based on launches, promotions, and relevant evergreen content.
  • Assist in the development of content creation for social-first content with an emphasis on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Maintain best practices across platforms, including analysis and implementing actions on content performance insights and reacting to platform updates and trends.
  • Coordinate publishing of daily content using Sprout Social.
  • Manage and ideate content for social media giveaways.
  • Instagram, X, Facebook and TikTok experience – understanding and actively using these platforms is critical.
  • Ability to make social performance data digestible for client teams

  • Communicative, trustworthy, and able to meet and manage multiple deadlines.
