About the Role:
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing and leading effective relationships across agency departments and day-to-day client relationships. The Executive should interact with clients and internal partners as a strategic partner who helps develop project objectives, identify challenges, and guides the creation of strategies and metrics for success. This person will be responsible for supporting and/or leading medium-sized projects with oversight from the Account Supervisor and Director.
They should be an energetic team member, setting the demeanor and expectations for junior team members. The Senior Account Executive is an active proponent of client partnerships within the agency, and will participate in external cross-functional teams because a key component of this role is translating strategy to execution and being ultra-responsive. They play a big role in partner relationships and day-to-day client communications. Financial responsibilities include monthly billing, forecasting and updating clients on monthly billing and burn reports. Candidates must be prepared for a fast-paced work environment, comfortable speaking/leading client calls and being the final decision maker.
What You’ll Do:
- Strong project manager, leading day-to-day projects from beginning to end, working cross functionally with strategy, creative and production teams
- Motivates cross-functional teamwork and collaboration towards elevating the bar and delivering business-based marketing with flawless execution and client satisfaction
- Shares information proactively and efficiently internally and among client teams. Ensuring operational excellence on accounts responsibilities
- Manages the development and delivery of a variety of client deliverables ranging from campaign reports to status documents
- Ability to think critically and solve problems with a go-getter attitude
- Proactive agency thought leadership around areas of interest and new opportunities
- Leads and supports key client meetings, which could include:
- Status meetings
- Brand/project briefings
- Cross-agency partner meetings
- Client presentations
- Expects and prepares for challenges, managing Client expectations well
- Leads and supports client and internal meetings, presents with confidence, and provides clear, concise direction to all team members
- Prepares well-crafted decks that tell a story, have a POV and answer the, “so what” for the team and the client
- Responsible for identifying workflow efficiencies and enhancements for self and team
- Partners with the Account Supervisor in the development and presentation of solutions that drive the business
- Financial management responsibilities include forecasting and billing, reviewing monthly billing & burn spreadsheets with clients as well as contribute to QBRs and Account Reviews
- Able to handle integrated campaigns of medium volume/complex/diverse projects
- Supports team members and provides inputs/recommendations to account team
- Contributes to a rewarding and engaging corporate culture
- Acts as gate-keeper in identifying red flags and recommending proactive solutions to mitigate risk – know when to solve and when to elevate

- Minimum 3-4 years of overall business experience with a majority of experience in marketing role, preferably at an advertising or media agency, or client-side internal team
